27th Annual CARE of Southeastern Michigan Parenting Conference to take place virtually on Saturday, March 5, 2022

Now in its 27th year, CARE of Southeastern Michigan will be hosting their annual Parenting Conference on Saturday, March 5th  virtually from 8:45 am to 2:30 pm, during Parenting Awareness Month.

This annual conference invites parents, professionals, and caregivers of all types to participate from the comfort of their own home.

Registrants will learn new skills and resources that will help them and the children in their life. There are over ten workshops to choose from, each focusing on age specific topics.  The morning will begin with keynote speaker, Bernie Les, PhD, followed by other notable education and healthcare professionals.

“The CARE Parenting Conference has been a tradition for 27 years, and parents need more support than ever.  We are offering a variety of workshops to meet the needs of parents, educators and families in our community. We appreciate the continued support we receive for this event and welcome everyone to join us.” – stated Susan Styf, CARE President & CEO.

Registration is now open with a fee of $20.  Scholarships available.  SCECH and Social Work  CEUs (pending) are an additional $10 for a $30 registration. MiRegistry is also pending but no additional fee required.

This year’s Parenting Conference is presented by Ascension and First State Bank, with support from Beaumont, Comcast, Extra Credit Union, Health Alliance Plan (HAP),  Henry Ford Macomb Hospitals, Macomb County Office of Substance Abuse (MCOSA) and PNC Bank.

For a complete  list of workshops, presenters, to register or to apply for a scholarship, visit CARE’s website at www.careofsem.com  or call 586.541.2273.
