This session will provide a comprehensive review of the: who’s\, what’s\, where’s\, when’s\, why’s and most importantly how’s of community coalitions. Through the application of the strategic prevention framework\, attendees will be prepared to pull together their “village” to successfully grow and develop substance abuse prevention initiatives. \nWORKSHOP OBJECTIVES:  \n\nParticipants will be able to define what a coalition is and understand its overall purpose\nParticipants will be able to identify how coalitions look to reduce the impact of substance use in a community\nParticipants will be able to understand how the strategic prevention framework is applied when working with community coalitions\n\nZOOM Link will be emailed prior to the training. \nThis training is approved by MCBAP for 1.25 specific contact hours.
