SUMMARY:Teen Substance Use Prevention Education July 2025
DESCRIPTION:Evidence-based program for teenagers (ages 12 to 19) suspected of having mild to moderate problems with alcohol or substance use.\nTeens must receive a referral from the Student Assistance Center to be eligible for the program.\nParents and guardians will attend concurrent sessions to learn healthy communication skills and the role of family dynamics in adolescent development.\nThe series runs for three weeks; one\, 2-hour session per week.

DESCRIPTION:CARE will host an expungement clinic and resource fair on Friday\, July 25 between 8 am and 1 pm. Participants will meet with legal professionals to evaluate their criminal records and discuss their eligibility for the expungement process. At this time\, participants will also have the opportunity to learn about other community resources and services and the Secretary of State Mobile unit will also be onsite.
