Monique (Hayes) Stanton, MA
President & CEO
Monique Stanton has a Bachelor's of Arts degree in Communication and History from Aquinas College in Grand Rapids, MI and Master's of Arts degree in Social Justice from Marygrove College in Detroit, MI. Monique began her career at CARE in 2005 in the Family to Family program. She left CARE to assist in the opening of a family learning center in northwest Detroit. In 2008, Monique returned to CARE to fill the Deputy Director position. In 2012, she was promoted to the role of President/CEO.
Paul Dailey, MS, LPC, CAADC, CCS-M, SAP
Deputy Director
Paul has his Bachelor's degree in Spanish from St. John
Fisher College and his Master's degree in counseling from
the University of Rochester in New York. He has extensive
experience within the fields of assessment and substance
abuse and mental health treatment. Paul started his career at CARE in 2006 as the Managed Care Supervisor and then transitioned to the Clinical Director. Prior to
that, he was the director of a supportive case management
program for clients in a residential dual disorder treatment
facility.
Heather Dombrowski, MA, LLP, CAADC
Clinical Program Director
Heather Dombrowski began her career with CARE in 2006 as a Clinician and has also worked as the Managed Care Supervisor and Assistant Clinical Director. She has a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Michigan State University and did her graduate work at Western Michigan University where she holds a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology. She has experience in working with adolescents, teens, young adults and their families, as well as adults with substance use and mental health disorders. She currently holds a position as an Advisory Board member for Families Against Narcotics (FAN).

Meghan Kindsvater
Fund Development Manager
Meghan has a Bachelor’s of Arts degree with a focus in Marketing and Management from Northwood University and is currently working towards obtaining her Masters of Business Administration from Northwood University. Meghan began her career at CARE in spring of 2012, coming from several years of fund development experience in local and self started organizations. Meghan is also an active volunteer for Big Brothers Big Sisters Detroit.
Sheri Crell
HR/Payroll Manager
Sheri was introduced to CARE as a STEP Parenting Program
participant in 1995. Soon after she became a volunteer STEP
program facilitator and in 1999, she became an actual CARE
staff member. After holding several positions within the
agency, she became the agency’s HR/Payroll Manager.
Prior to her involvement with CARE she managed two dental
offices, a retail store and a family-owned heating & cooling
business as well as being a stay at home mother to her four
children.
Beth Lafata
Financial Manager
Beth came to CARE in 2002 with an Associates Degree in
Accounting and 13 years experience in the
Accounting/Bookkeeping field to serve as the agency’s Human
Resources/Payroll Administrator. In 2004, she was promoted
to the Financial Manager's position. In her spare time she
volunteers with her church and her children's sports teams.
