| Curt is a
Senior Vice President, Michigan Market Manager at First Place Bank. He has a
Bachelor of Arts Degree in Finance from Michigan State
University. Curt is a Founding Board Member of the Rochester
Schools Foundation and is a member of Leadership Macomb. |

Chairperson (External Operations) - Patti Steele |
| Works in Consultant Services at the Macomb Intermediate School District, responsible for distribution of Safe and Drug Free School Funding to school districts. Trained as a nurse and health educator. Currently serves on the Board of the Family Center in Grosse Pointe, CARE’s Friends of CARE, and the Macomb County Community Mental Health Substance Abuse Advisory Committee. Experience in building collaborative efforts, community outreach and fundraising/events. |

| Vice Chairperson (Internal Operations) -Thomas Denewith |
| Tom has been
in education for over 33 years. He spent 22 years as a High
School Principal and now teaches for Wayne State University.
Tom is presently a consultant for Macomb Community College and a
Regional Representative for the North Central Association. For
North Central he accredits schools and gives presentations to
schools on school improvement. |

| Secretary - Patrick McLogan |
| Patrick, retired, Director of the Health Promotion/Disease Control Division at
the Macomb County Health Department. He has been a Public
Health Administrator for over 29 years. Before coming to Macomb
County, he worked at the Detroit and Wayne County Health
Departments. He has served as President and Vice President of
the Macomb County Board of Directors of the American Cancer
Society. |

| Treasurer - Robert Wirsing, Jr. |
| Bob retired
as a Bank Auditor and Certified Fraud Examiner from Comerica,
Inc. in 1996 after 32 years in banking. Bob is very active in
the community as a trustee to a local school board and currently
Chairman, President, Director or Member of several non-profits,
service clubs and community coalitions involving the improvement
of children, local schools and the community. |

| Karen Beger |
Karen is a registered nurse and is currently the Director of Community Health for St. John Providence Health System. She has experience in management, human resources and strategic planning, and marketing. Karen has been very involved with CARE and their activities though the Macomb Tobacco Prevention Coalition, Macomb Prevention Coalition and St. John’s sponsorship of CARE’s Parenting Conference. She lives in Utica. |

| Becky Bolander |
Becky is the Pastor of American Lutheran Church, Clinton Township. Familiar with CARE by hosting the Family to Family project at American Lutheran. Currently, serves on the Habitat for Humanity and St. Zion Foundation Boards. Past Board member of Solid Ground. Expertise in human resources, personnel, marketing and public relations. As a Board member, hopes to inform a broader community of CARE’s services. |

| Harry Kalogerakos |
Harry is an Attorney with experience in municipal law, labor relations, real estate, priority of liens, bankruptcy and commercial litigation. As a Board member, hopes to develop policies that will allow CARE to grow and deliver its services to more people.” Current Board member of Detroit east, Inc., past Board member of Lutheran Outdoor Retreat Ministries in Michigan. |

| Richard Lange |
| Dick is
presently retired but was a high school teacher and coach, a
Union (MEA) representative, a district administrator and a
countywide administrator for the Macomb Intermediate School
District. |

| Trev Pawl |
MBA, University of Detroit, BBA, Grand Valley State University. Emphasis: Organizational Crisis Management and Communication, Restructuring Strategies and Turnaround Plan Execution, Marketing Strategy, Urban Economic Policy and Development. Employed at Detroit Regional Chamber of Commerce as their Economic Development Consultant. He has represented marketing with the DESC Board Strengthening project at CARE. As a Board member, hopes to “broaden our reach into new target audiences, more targeted messaging by audience and promote effect client retention/loyalty. Currently serves on the Open Hands Studio as a Board member and 313 Digital and the Collegiate Enterprises Organization. |

| Janet Reed, PhD. MHA, Board Certified Clinical Neuropsychologist |
Dr. Reed, a resident of St. Clair Shores, has experience in community mental health care and administration, grantsmanship and clinical health care delivery. She is on staff at the Henry Ford Health Service Center for Autism and Developmental Disabilities. Dr. Reed has served on CARE’s Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) Task Force, an activity of Project FASD ACHIEVE, a federal subcontract with Northrop Grumman, administrator of SAMHSA FASD Center for Excellence.

| Paula Roman |
Paula is a regional manager for PNC Bank and over sees the activity of 18 branches in the Northeast Region of the Detroit Market. Paula lives in Macomb Township. She has 20 years experience in retail banking and has experience in finance and management. She has attended CARE’s Annual Fundraising Tea and Luncheon as well as volunteered at CARE’s summer camp for children impacted by a care givers problematic use of alcohol and/or other drugs. |

| David Saad |
| David is a retired Parole Agent from the Michigan Department of Corrections
where he served for more than 30 years. He is a graduate of the
University of Detroit with a degree in Psychology. David has
experience working with inmates, probationers, parolees as well
as other professionals in the criminal justice system. |

| Lucy is
a retired educator from the Macomb Intermediate School District. She has
a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Michigan. Lucy also serves on CARE's Friends of CARE committee. |
